Few of My June Favorites

Hey There!

I know quite a few YouTubers who share their favorites each month and I find those to be really enjoyable so I thought I would do the same! So here we go:)

Favorite Song: Dancing On My Own by Calum Scott.

One of my friends suggested this song to me and while it definitely something that won’t get you pumped; it is something you can sing your heart out to. My dad is not a fan because my sister and I sing at the top of our lungs {No regrets. He will get over it}

Favorite Snack: Smart Pop White Cheddar Popcorn

If you have never tried this I highly suggest it because it’s delicious and you can eat a ton of it without feeling guilty!!

Go To Drink: Caribou’s Cold Press with no milk or flavoring

(Adult Beverage: Long Island Iced Tea…refreshing on the hot days of summer, but not fitness friendly)

Favorite Make-Up Product: Nyx Suede Sandstorm.

Definitely a different color for me, but after it dried I absolutely loved it! I highly suggest picking it up from your local Target.Screen Shot 2016-07-11 at 8.27.36 PM

Favorite Piece of Clothing/Accessory: Still obsessed with my nickel and Suede Earrings! I picked up the Caribbean Blue pair for the Fourth of July!

Favorite TV Show: New Season of OITNB (Orange Is The New Black)

Ugh…so good, but over so fast. I don’t know what to do with my life.

Full Coverage Covergirl

Hey There!

I am on spring break this week and unlike a lot of my peers I am not rushing down south to have the time of my life (kiddos to those who can!). I am just hanging around my hometown, relaxing, working out and doing academic things…because breaks are not true breaks they are just periods of time that you don’t have class and more time to actually do homework. So in addition to those things, I can’t help but go shopping or at least window shopping.

I was out with my sister the other day and she had to get a different shade of foundation because the one she got was not working. She offered me her other one and I was hoping it was the right shade since I have been tanning recently (I know, I know it’s not good for me). It was my lucky day, it was the perfect shade! I have not use the Covergirl Trublend Liquid Foundation prior to this so I was not sure. I am one who does not spend very much on foundation because my skin does just fine with brands from target and I have had luck matching my skin tone. In addition, my skin does change tones throughout the year and I don’t use foundation enough to warrant spending a ton of money only for it to go bad.  This foundation though, offers wonderful coverage, and it does not take much, at all! I applied the foundation to just my post-shower, moisturized skin using a foundation brush I also got from target. Not only did it go on with ease, it stayed on throughout the whole day.  Covergirl offers 21 shades in the Trublend line so if you are in the market for a new foundation or one to just get you from your winter to summer foundation I highly suggest this brand because for a little under $10, you can’t beat it!!

5 February Favorites

Hey There!

This past couple weeks have had me in such a good mood because the weather has been absolutely phenomenal. I have been able to wear shorts and have my windows open…in the middle of winter in the midwest. However, I think the change in weather is what is responsible for me getting a cold this past week. Now I am just left with a pesky cough and a stuffy nose. Regardless though, I will take that for some good weather and a chance to get my Vitamin D.

It is nearly the end of February (which is absolutely crazy!) so I thought I would just share a few favorites from this month.

  1. Bite Matte Creme Lip Crayon- color Cafe

I have been absolutely obsessed with Bite lip crayons since Christmas when my little sister spoiled me and got me the gift set of 4. I can apply the color early in the morning drink coffee/tea all morning and it will still be in place and radiant well into the afternoon. Cafe has definitely my most used this month because it is an everyday shade and it really adds to normal make-up. I highly suggest heading to Sephora to play around with all of the colors.

2. Yogi Cinnamon Vanilla Tea

I love love love tea and coffee just like many other college students who are trying to survive. I am usually just a green tea and lemon kind of gal, but when I had to cut caffeine out I was looking for something to satisfy my sweet tooth in place of my usual caramel macchiato. I also am a huge fan of Yogi because each of the tea bags have a cute, motivational message at the end.

3. Essie- For the Twill of Things

Okay, so I bought this color last year as part of the winter collection I believe and I absolutely love it. It is not just one color, but rather is more of a color that has multiple colors. As much as I love dark colors I am ready for summer so I can wear my white nail polish again.Screen Shot 2016-02-29 at 7.55.21 AM.png

4. Favorite Song At The Moment- Talk by Tori Kelly and Pillowtalk by Zayn

Go give them a listen. They are very different, but I like ’em.

 LISTEN!!

5. Favorite Quote of The Moment- “You can do anything, but not everything”

I am definitely one who has a hard time saying no and I want to help out as many people as possible, but I have a pretty rough schedule. The month was the first time I actually had to quit something because I was just too overwhelmed and I was not getting anything out of it. I felt absolutely terrible and I felt like I was letting them down, but everyone understood and I am must happier now.

Let’s all have a kick butt week and start March off right!
